According to the news, Heart Evangelista swears that she and her driver had seen another woman in the arms of Jericho Rosales. She also knows that a third party is involved in their separation — a Hollywood star named Briana Evigan. Heart has admitted she chose to love Echo and went on with their relationship despite her parents’ disapproval. Now, her decision not to see Jericho anymore when she arrives from Dubai is final, according to her.

Gmanews.tv reported that Heart Evangelista is ready to move on shortly after her breakup with Jericho Rosales. Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales’ breakup came as as shocker to many fans around the Philippines because they seem to be getting along well together, on-cam and off-cam.

Last week was full of reports about the shocking breakup of Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales. While on the set of Codename: Asero in Dubai, StarTalk was able to interview Heart to clear up a couple of things related to their breakup after three years of relationship.

“I was upset. Medyo na-upset ako,” admitted Heart. “Sinabi ko dati na ayoko sana mag-elaborate, ayoko sana magsalita. Para sa akin, okay na ang ‘no comment’ ako. Sobrang naging open kami about our relationship dati kaya… Ano ngayon, nagsasalita siya [Jericho] at ang dami-dami niyang sinabi, so medyo na-shock ako. Nagsalita na ako sa Showbiz Central at nalinaw na ang lahat kaya panatag na ang loob ko.”

Heart also denied reports about her parent’s alleged involvement in the split:

“Ang pamilya ko, simula noong nakita nila na tatlong taon kong ipinaglaban si Jericho, at talagang wala silang sinabi ni isang salita na, ‘Mas mabuti pa ganito, mas mabuti pa ganyan.’ Wala silang sinabi. Kumbaga, hinayaan na nila yun. Alam nila na wala na silang magagawa doon for sure, decision ko na yun. So hindi totoo ‘yan. Malinaw na malinaw na tatlong taon ko siyang ipinaglaban, tatlong taon kong tiniis ang career ko, ang pamilya ko.”

THIRD PARTY. On the details about the breakup, she confirmed that a third party was indeed the cause of the breakup.

Since Carmen is from Malaysia, is it true that Heart went to Malaysia to confront the girl?

“No,” she answered. “That is not true. Never ako nag-book ng flight papuntang Malaysia. Kasi yun ang narinig ko, e. Pumunta daw ako ng Malaysia para awayin si Echo at nadelay daw ag taping nila. That is not true.”

The other girl being mentioned as the cause of the breakup is Hollywood actress Briana Evigan, whom Jericho worked with in an international movie titled I Luv U Virus.

THE BREAKUP. Heart also made it clear that her breakup with Jericho wasn’t through text or email.

“Hindi ko siya tinext. Tinawagan ko siya. At siyempre, nag-text back siya. Pero nung tinawagan ko siya, sinabi ko sa kanya na it’s over, tapos na, and I’m moving on,” she related.

What did she feel upon seeing Jericho cry on TV while talking about their breakup?

Heart said, after a long pause, “Ewan ko, wala akong masasabi doon. Basta alam ko na hindi siya ganoon ‘pag kausap ko siya. Iba. ‘Tsaka alam ko na yung totoo at ang importante ay I’m moving on with my life. Masaya na ako ngayon at para akong nabunutan ng tinik.”

Heart admitted that after watching Jericho’s emotional interview on TV, he still tried to fix things with her.

“Tine-text niya ako if we can work it out, na marami daw siyang pagkakamali pero we’ll work it out daw, ganyan. Pero para sa akin, kahit sigawan pa niya ako, kahit nag-aaway kami… Pero lahat na bilang isang girlfriend na mahal na mahal siya, e, gawin mo na lahat basta huwag lang ibang babae.

“Noong nangyari yun, tapos na. I feel na I’ve done so much. Marami na akong na-give up sa buhay ko, pati pamilya ko nadamay pa sa katigasan ng ulo ko. It’s time for me to move on. It’s time for me to find somebody I deserve naman,” Heart firmly said.

MOM’S SUPPORT. According to Heart, it also helps to have her mom with her on the set of Asero in Dubai, especially during these trying times.

“Kasama ko mommy ko sa aking kuwarto, so araw-araw ay nag-uusap kami, nagre-review kami sa mga bagay sa buhay ko, inaayos namin ang lahat-lahat.”

Heart’s message to Jericho was piercingly sweet. She said, “Narinig ko nung una na I broke up with you on TV tapos binawi mo. Ngayon naman, ang dami mong sinabi sa TV. All I can say is, stop it. Stop it at sawang-sawa na ako. Tama na, tapos na yun. I will really find it in my heart to eventually to forgive you, but just stop it. Stop saying bad things about me. It’s time for you to move on and it’s time for me to move on. I hope you find somebody that you would surely love and who’ll understand you. I’ll just see you around.”

In a recent interview with Jericho Rosales by ABS-CBN.com, Jericho Rosales talked about his relationship with Heart Evangelista ending through a text message via cell phone while in Malaysia.

Rosales told ABS-CBN, “Jericho Rosales admitted that he is still in denial after his girlfriend, Heart Evangelista, decided to end their relationship of three years. A couple of days ago, Echo arrived from Malaysia, where he is taping for a teleserye, and appeared confused about the issue. He said that up to now the things she said to him through “the phone, text or e-mail” are still unclear. “

“The two have not seen each other ever since Echo flew to Malaysia last month to shoot scenes for an upcoming teleserye. Jericho and Heart had no opportunity to talk face to face since the actress is currently in Dubai because of showbiz commitments. ABS-CBN News clarified this with Jericho when he arrived yesterday, May 8, from his month-long taping in Malaysia for his teleserye with Malaysian actress Carmen Soo. He told ABS-CBN reporter Mario Dumaual that there was no formal breakup between him and Heart.

“I, myself, I’m confused, e,” said Jericho. “I heard nakipag-break siya sa akin on TV, e, so… On text, it wasn’t clear, e.”

Echo, Jericho’s nickname in showbiz, was not only surprised but also clueless about the real reason for their breakup, although he suspects that someone is trying to destroy his image with Heart.

“Whoever said things to her, how come… You guys can show up and say it to my face. I mean, I can talk to you, but I’m not gonna do anything. I’m gonna say, you know, I’m gonna be honest to you and say, ‘Where did you get this?’” the young actor challenged whoever concocted the story against him.

Meanwhile, Jericho dismissed rumors saying that Malaysian actress Carmen Soo is one of the reasons for the split. “Definitely not, no, I don’t know about the third party,” assured Jericho.

He continued, “You know, whoever is creating this thing… I love Heart, you know. Ano pa bang sasabihin ko? I’m a guy, I could have done anything, di ba? I was so far away, I had so many chances to, you know… But I kept my heart, you know, I saved my heart for Heart.”

Jericho still has high hopes to work things out between him and Heart. He wants a serious personal talk with Heart. However, he only has several days to stay here before he goes back to Malaysia for his taping. It is also impossible for them to see each other because Heart is in Dubai right now for the taping of her first project with GMA-7, Asero.

ABS-CBN then asked Jericho if he thinks that it is time to move on. “I can’t say I’ll move on, I love Heart, e. So, I’m gonna make this work first,” the young actor replied.

He added, “I’m gonna try to clear things up. I’m gonna know the truth, whatever happened. I’m gonna see and try to make it work because you cannot decide if there’s any… You cannot say it’s over if there’s no peace. You cannot say that’s it if there’s no peace in your heart.”

Jericho also refused to give a message to Heart. Indirectly, he told ABS-CBN, “I just wanna be careful of what I wanna say because I haven’t spoken to Heart, and I don’t wanna hurt her on TV.”

“No, let it remain that way. Ayaw naming madaliin. If it comes late, it will come. But as of now, okay na sa akin itong situwasyon, they accepted me again at tama na muna yun,” says Heart Evangelista about her reconciliation with her family and the possibility of boyfriend Jericho Rosales being accepted by them.

Ipinaliwanag ni Heart Evangelista sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung bakit tila madalang na ang mga projects niya sa ABS-CBN. Ayon kay Heart, medyo mapili na siya sa mga tinatanggap niyang projects ngayon. Una na nga raw ay dahil sa health problem niya na sobrang pinag-iingatan niya.

Secondly, sadya lang daw na kailangan na niyang busisiin yung mga project na makapagpaangat sa kanyang career.

“I still need to work now, but I would like to make sure, I am getting the right projects for me, hindi baleng konti lang, basta yung tama lang para sa akin. Ayoko nang basta-basta lang tatanggap if I know this would not help me grow,” paliwanag ni Heart.
